ROute+ – traffic management not only in the city
Wherever signs or variable message signs display warnings and speed limits adapted to the situation, the risk of congestion and accidents decreases. In many post-implementation analyses, it turns out that traffic management systems abroad as well as in Poland have led to a significant reduction in the number of dangerous incidents. Thanks to such solutions, vehicles move at a constant speed, the journey becomes not only safer and faster, but it also has less impact on the environment, as the amount of emissions is much lower than in the case of particularly harmful stop-and-go traffic. All-in-one control system
ROute+ is extremely versatile. The system can not only be used to control signs, variable message signs, prismatic signs, lane control signals and barriers on roads or in tunnels.
The system collects and provides a range of important information for maintenance services, integrates multiple subsystems and individual measurement stations, sensors, cameras, etc.
One of the main features is the monitoring and management of all installations occurring in road tunnels. ROute+ interacts perfectly with other traffic control centers. From simple to complex
ROute+ is designed modularly and can be used as the heart of systems of any size, from compact centers with a small number of roadside stations and facilities to full-fledged, master control centers handling hundreds of facilities and millions of variables! The system is suitable for all levels of control and can be easily expanded at any time to meet new specific requirements.
The control interventions implemented automatically or semi-automatically by the management center are the result of very complex analyses and algorithms. For this purpose, many situational factors have to be collected, aggregated and correctly interpreted over very long road sections and from many devices in tunnels. Based on a wide range of algorithms, ROute+ analyzes the data provided by all connected sensors and systems and generates appropriate intervention measures. Operators can use pre-developed logic conditions during the implementation phase as well as easily and intuitively create their own response procedures to various system events as well as planned actions. Operators in the control center receive optimal support in making the necessary decisions in the control process.
Redundancy and security at every level
The ROute+ system is a highly available and reliable system. Thanks to its redundancy capability, it provides uninterrupted operation. If active devices in the system encounter any hardware problem, they can automatically switch to a second server or backup controller. Networks and client stations can also be configured redundantly to ensure the highest security requirements.
Accessibility not only in the management center
ROute+ also allows operators to work on tablets and smartphones. This allows operators to gain secure remote access to the system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week also outside the control center e.g.: in the field.
Openness
ROute+ modules are based on a proven and trusted industrial middleware that can run on multiple operating systems regardless of the hardware platform. The openness of the system provides the possibility to use many communication standards provided by the system but it is not an obstacle to implement other
